Capital expenditures

Sir I have the following doubts

Sir is maintainence cost considered a revenue expenditure
And is repair cost considered also a revenue exoendityre

Are both the terms essentially the same thing??

Also what exactly is the difference between a repair and refurnishment

Because refurnishment could be making a building look like as if it was in the original state and repair also can mean making broken stuff look like in the original state
