Is alteration to property capitalized or not ? If yes Why ?
Also if anything extra that u think may come in exam in case of capital or revenue expenditure to be asked please refer ..

If there is an improvement, then it is capital expenditure.
If it is repair or redecoration, then it is revenue expenditure.
