Which of the following is an example of Capital Expenditure?
1. Paying bounses to production operatives.
2. Paying for refurbishment as part of upgrading a building.
3. Paying legal fees in order to recover customer debts.
4. Paying Carriage outwards in respect of selling goods.August 15, 2013 at 6:11 am #138118I can safely say Carriage outwards is revenue expenditure.

August 15, 2013 at 7:26 am #138124hey i did some googling and this is what i have come across.
Legal fees can be revenue or capital exp.
In this case it is a revenue expenditure because what the business is actually doing is trying to make its activities move smoothly.
Suppose the company was paying legal fees to buy an non current asset then yes you would capitalize it
