how to calculate payback or npv when there is straight line depreciation for a certain number of year and expectedvalue of goods is been given in the question

Depreciation is irrelevant for both NPV and for the payback period, because it is not a cash flow.

How to calculate them is explained in my free lectures. The lectures are a complete free course for Paper MA and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
