In the BPP exam questions at the back of the study book, number 10 about capital allowances shows addition of a new car to a private use single asset pool of £13400, less WDA at 20% £2680 and have come up with the total of £10400. I dont work this out to be correct but want to check that it isnt just that I am looking at it wrong or missing something. If you have the BPP books could you please have a look and let me know what you think.
Many thanksMay 16, 2010 at 9:21 pm #60413I have an old textbook so I’m not sure if the question is the same. If its the Tom Hardy question with a business use of 80% of the asset the TWDV c/fwd should be £10,720 and capital allowances of £2,144. Is that what you got?
