Chapt 5 Illustration 3- Why is WDA not time apportioned in the transactions occurred in July & November.
I do not know what example you are referring to – but as the notes and lectures clearly state – the date within the accounting period that an asset was purchased is irrelevant in determining the level of WDA available – only the length of the accounting period itself, if other than 12 months, will require a WDA (or indeed AIA) to be time apportioned!
