a question has included new flooring $2,000 and moveable partitions $9,000 under maintenance and repair costs. when calculating capital allowances, how do I account for these or do I just ignore them?

    Hi Beno,

New flooring doest not qualify for capital allowance as such you can ignore that.
However moveable partitions would qualify for capital allowance. As such you need to include that as additions for the current year in capital allowance calculation under Main pool.

    Hope it helps
    Regards
    Raj
