    hi tutor,
    1. Kindly help me understand this. In Q1 of mock examination 1 of Bpp revision kit tthey is an item of purchase of office furniture (note 3) which according to bpp, it has been treated as a general pool item . I thought it was supposed to be treated as an item qualifying for AIA but it wasn’t treated as such.
    2. In Q2 of the same mock, purchase of motor car( plant and machinery) with co2 emission of of 135kg/km with 40% private use has also been treated as a
general pool item. claiming the whole 20% allowance.instead of only the business portion of it.
plse tutor i need urgent help with the clarifications on these

2# If it is a company than there is no private use! Because if employees use business asset, it would not be considered as a pvt use.

    Hope this helps!

The AIA has already been used and there is no private use assets for companies-companies cannot drive a car!
