    Hi

    I have Failed F9 for the 3rd time. I do not question my result, I am finding it very hard to get my head around this subject, however I would like to know if it was the multiple choice or the long Answer questions that let me down or was it an even spread.

    Do you know if it is possible to find this out?

    I am sorry that you have failed again.

    You can apply for an administrative review. If you do then they check that they recorded your marks properly (although they do not remark the paper) and they do give you an outline as to whether you passed or failed each section, but not in any detail.

    However it is expensive and I think you would be better leaving it and concentrating on studying to take the exam again.

    Have you watched all of my free lectures? They are a complete free course for paper F9 and cover everything needed.
    Have you been using a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers, because the contain lots of exam standard questions to practice, and question practice is vital? If you do not have one then you really must buy one. If you have been using one then consider buying one from one of the other publishers so that you can practice on different questions.

    Any problems you have while watching the lectures or practicing questions, then ask in this forum and I will help you.

    Hi John

    Thank you for coming back to me with such a detailed response. Yes I have decided to let it go as I do not question the result.

    I have attended a course for this subject and did self study for the repeats but this time I plan to watch your lectures and hope my understanding for the subject finally clicks.

    I have found that when I cover an area in the syllabus I understand every part by themselves but when I look at the questions I can not identify what I am being asked. I got 46% in the last sitting and I believe that it is the theory that got me the high fail but I fell down with the application.

    I appreciate you offer of help and plan to take you up on it in due course
