Hi, I'm sure the practice questions have said that only authority can be delegated, not responsibility but how come the textbook section of committees says that advantages are that committees can further delegate responsibilities?

1d ago#1If something is delegated to you eg by your boss then you have the responsibility to carry out the task,
If you fail then you cannot put up a defence that you delegated the responsibility to someone else. Neither can your boss mount a defence by saying that he or she delegated their responsibility to you..
