Can I use the 2010 book for P7?

Dear Sir, I wanted to know if for P7, I can use my 2010 book study text instead of buying one new, and make additional research concerning ONLY the new topics for 2011? As, buying a new book will be quite expensive.
However I will buy the new exam kit to catch up with the new syllabus.

That should be good enough, so long as you really do download the latest past exam questions from the ACCA website
