Hey all,
I am a new student in ACCA I cleared my BT exam in Dec 2023, I am taking classes from an approved learning provider. However, I registered for LW classes along with FA as they did not have MA classes for June exam sitting. Now, I am in a bit of trouble as I just found out about the modular order as I was planning to book my LW and FA exams in beginning and end of June respectively. I plan on self studying for MA as a stand alone and appear for it in Aug. Now I am in a question has my LW prep gone to waste as I cannot sit before clearing FA and MA or Can I book all 3 at once for June and Aug for MA and will be then allowed to write LW as my first exam? Please advise if anyone can provide info on this.May 28, 2024 at 5:45 pm #706194This is the authority: https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-entry-and-administration/enter-an-exam/exam-progression-rules.html
“Modular order
Exams must be taken in modular order for the ACCA Qualification, however you can attempt the papers within each module in any order. If you wish to enter to sit exams in the next module, you must also enter for all outstanding exams in your current module. ”My understanding of this is that as long as you are ENTERED for FA and MA you can sit LW before them. I haven’t had a student contradict this.
