Can I study and pass SBR without a kit?

Just past exams from the ACCA website?
Can this work? I have been told that some of the kits do not reflect the reality and practicality of exam questions. But again, if I go too far back on the past papers, I might be studying stuff that have been changed in the syllabus? If I need a kit, which one?

You need a kit.
You need the one valid from Sept 21 to June 22.
Don’t rely on ACCA answers – these go out of date very quickly.
