Can this work? I have been told that some of the kits do not reflect the reality and practicality of exam questions. But again, if I go too far back on the past papers, I might be studying stuff that have been changed in the syllabus? If I need a kit, which one?
You have asked about SBR but posted on the SBL forum.
If you are asking about SBR it is safer to repost on the SBR forum and let that tutor reply. However, I suspect that because accounting and reporting standards frequently change then using old exams from the ACCA site would be dangerous as these are never updated. Kit questions are updated.
If you are asking about SBL, because this syllabus changes only slowly it is reasonably safe to use old exams if there are enough to give you all the practice you need. Kits usually provide additional help, such as commentaries by tutors.
