So basically, since P1 and P3 shall be merged in September, I’ve been advised by my tutors to attempt the rest of my professional exams before it and sit for the new paper in September.
Now, my biggest problem is not having passed P2. I have F7 and one more exam to give this March, and I have no idea which exam should I sit with it. I have been reading up on P7 lately and was decided on giving that, but after going through forums here that it is a bad idea to attempt P7 before giving P1 and P2, I’m not so sure anymore.
I cannot give P2 because I haven’t passed F7 yet, I cannot give P1 because I am waiting for the merger.
So my question is, is it possible to pass P7 without adequate knowledge of P1 and P2? If not so, do P4 and P5 require mastered knowledge of any of P1, P2 and P3 before them? Since I have given none of those. Yes, I’m attempting them in March. But I am a full time student for now and I have adequate time to start anything from scratch. So if someone can, please help.
I’d be very grateful!
Regards.
Thank you for replying. Yes, I know it sounds a little over-ambitious if nothing else. But the subjects P4 (advanced version of F9) and P5 (advanced version of F5), do they build up on anything significant from P1, P2 or P3?
I’ll take you up on your advice if P2’s knowledge is significant for P7. But I really need to be done with my exams by September, hence I cannot pass up this attempt and I feel that I must give another paper with it.
