    Hi folks.

I have recently started studying towards P6 & P7, but unfortunately I failed my re-sit in P3 in december.

    My Question is…..

If I was to take P3 & P6 together in June 14 (Which I Believe is allowable), what would happen to my P6 result if I passed that paper but failed my P3 paper again. Would it be classified as a pass or would they discard the result due to the fact I havnt yet passed P3.

I know it says on the ACCA site that all papers within a module are to be attempted before continuing to another module ie P1 to P3 before attempting options. But I have also read that folks have entered for P Papers without passing all F Papers. ie Entering for F9 & P1 in the same sitting.

Has anyone done this and passed the P Paper but failed the F Paper….If so has the Pass been allowed? or did you have to resit it once you had passed the F Paper.

I would appreciate any advice on this.

    Thanks in Advance

    Mark 🙂

    Hello

No you are fine, (assuming you have passed P1 & P2 already) as long as you have attempted P3 at the the same time as any of the options (in your case P6) they would not take the pass from you.

You could even enter for P3 and not turn up on the day – but that would be costly!

    Good luck
