    Before answering please note:
    1. I am a student of Chartered Accountant course (acca equivalent) from india at Final level (on basis of which i got exemptions from f1-9) so I am quite familiar with all subjects and many topics

    2. I also have completed my 3 years artcileship practical training under a CA (qualified accountant) in India so I have practical experience too

Now is it sufficient to me to study only through opentuition lectures to pass/perform well in exams or
if necessary please suggest me just one or two books (approved partners or otherwise) to complement my studies which can guarantee me proper knowledge to pass my P1 exam

(Opentuition notes) + (lectures) + (Loads of practice of exam questions from a revision kit) = all you need to pass any ACCA exam.

Don’t even think of touching a study text. Just go for the above equation and you’ll be through.

Unless off course you are willing to attempt the optional paper P6 (advanced taxation), as opentuition currently doesn’t offer resources for this exam.

    ACCA has three approved publishers

    BPP
    Kaplan
    Becker Professional

I personally have always used BPP as I am used to of its style of tone and it explains pretty well. I believe all three of these publishers would be available in India as they are here in Pakistan because both countries consist of a considerable amount of students studying ACCA.
    Hope that helped.

Yes – you should also attempt all the practice tests at the end of chapters to test your knowledge after each topic and include in your revision sitting CBE tests (e.g. the Specimen exam) available on ACCA’s website.

https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f3.html In the examining team guidance section you will also find interesting reading in the most recent examiner’s reports with examples of questions that students find most difficult in the exam.

ACCA accredited revisions books are very detailed but if you don’t mind a simplified version then forums like open tuition will be the best for you.. depends on what your learning style is..
