Is it too late to cancel /reschedule my exam in March? This time I’ve run out time. I have only started watching the lectures and I feel that I don’t have enough time to prep for this exam.
I got exempted of financial accounting subject and it’s almost 8 years since I studied that topic at uni. So everything is kinda new to me.
I am confused and panicking !!
February 4, 2020 at 7:30 pm #560694Unfortunately the deadline to amend your exam is already gone. It was 28th January.
From now on, keep in mind that booking or amending any already booked exam is only possible until the Standard Deadline. ACCA keeps reminding students of the deadline every attempt, through text, email and social media accounts.
Fortunately, there is still sufficient time to prepare for the exam. Focus on Consolidation, Ethics, Important Standards (IFRS 2, 9, IAS 19, 36,37, 38, IFRS 13, 15, 16) and Analysis and Interpretation.
Even if you can’t do enough past papers, revise the knowledge on regular intervals. Remember, you only need half the marks available to score in exam!Best of luck.
February 4, 2020 at 11:25 pm #560709Because I only booked the exam couple of days they said they will refund as it is within the 14 days. I’m thinking of attempting the exam in March.
Thank you
February 5, 2020 at 1:04 am #560713When did you book it? you can email call/email them if you booked the exam in the last 14 days and they will credit your ACCA account.
February 5, 2020 at 6:26 am #560722Never heard of the 14 days policy before. ACCA has clearly mentioned that any amendment is only allowed until the standard deadline. I’ll be interested to see if the said policy of 14 days exist.
