    Hi sir,
I have done some past year paper but I don’t know whether I am correct or not, my answer is so much different from the examiner’s model answer and as compared too short as well 🙁
How to write a better answer? And is it necessary to write as much as the examiner?

You couldn’t COPY the suggested solutions in the time allocation. Give up the idea NOW that your answers should appear anything like the examiner’s answers. Try it! Take a 20 mark question, get the answer in front of you, start your stop watch and get writing. Stop after 36 minutes (that leaves no time for reading, thinking, planning – it’s just writing) Hmm, how far did you get?

Read the exam technique articles on this site for both F8 and general.. In addition, there are 2 articles from members of the P3 marking team in Student Accountant from a couple of years ago – read those too

But I don’t want a marginal pass in the F8, rather want something above 75. I can do anything to get those but need your guidance sir on what should I do?

Getting 75% or above is unusual in F8. We don’t set out do help people do that. Most are happy with at least 50%.

Unusual? But still so many of the students get marks above 75 or so. But I think there is no harm to try aiming for 75+, isn’t it?
I know that it is unusual and so many of the students are happy with 50 but my question is; Can you tell me a way on how to write my answer to get 75 or above? There must be a way to get it sir since so many students get so why can’t I?
