I know it sounds silly asking such question but i am seriously stucked with the calculation for eg in any dividend valuation model or MIRR WE are required to find [14133/11840]1/5
So this would become (1.194) square root of 5
I cannot get how to take sqaure root 5 of 1.194 in scientific calculator please help i cannot get right answer in dividend valuation formula as well due to tjis problem
A scientific calculator should have a button for calculating the x’th root of y.
(Only my calculator it is above the button for calculating the y’th power of x, and I need to press a key marked ‘2nd’ first.)
However every calculator has different buttons and so you will have to look at the manual that came with the calculator.
If you have lost the manual then you will be able to find it online by typing the make and model number into Google.
