if we have calculated fair value of NCI in spreadsheet is it important to show the same calculation within word as well?

BUT if explanations are asked for……you may be explaining the calculation in a sentence.

if it says to explain will it be fine if lets say i write goodwill is $1m ( workings ) or shall I write no.s instead of workings?
