Hi Sir. I have a question and the question is: Which of the following organisations would rely most heavily on value for money indicators and efficiency rather than information on performance and profitability?
A) A private accountancy college
B) A local authority
C) A small retailer
2)could you please explain how are the NGO’S are measured in terms of value for money.
For the first question, the answer is B and I answered or selected the option A) why is option A wrong. thank you for your time and co-operation.
A and C are profit seeking so profitability is important. B is not profit-seeking so cannot use profit measures. A local authority would use measures like cost/tonne to remove rubbish.
It would depend on the aims of the NGO. So if it was a body trying to conserve the environment it would have to invent something like hectares returned to the wild/$.
