Hi,
How did they find out the growth rate for Burcolene and PetroFrancais in this question ?
And what is the attrition rate and vesting ?
You are told the 5% growth rate in the first paragraph of the question, and the 4% growth rate in the second paragraph of the question.
‘Attrition rate’ and ‘vesting’ are not financial management terms, they are normal English (although not words commonly used 🙂 ).
Attrition rate (or ‘churn rate’) is the % of people leaving the company. Vesting date is the date on which they get to own the share options.
