Hi all,
On the December 2011 past paper question 3 B, the question relates to ‘Participative Budgeting’.
This is not in the syllabus for December 13, but i was wondering if we need to know this as it might just be general knowledge.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes it is in the syllabus (C 4 (c) )
Also, be careful with the syllabus and appreciate that there are several topics not specifically listed in the syllabus that are assumed knowledge from Paper F2 (such as basic variances).

Hi Mash, participative budgeting refers to a bottom up budgeting system. Hope that helps and good luck
