Question 13 BPP Current Kit, Part A
7th pricipal of BRP: information should be captured once and at source.
And then it says in the end in commentry to this point that consistent replies can be obtained in response for any query about the information.
I don’t get this point. Could you help please.

Essentially it is making a point that is addressed by a database solution. There, any piece of data is held only in one place. Therefore when it is updated, everyone seeing it sees the same information.
In older, less satisfactory systems, data that should be the same might be held several times. There is then the danger that it is updated in one place, but not the other. Therefore different users would see different, inconsistent information: no good at all for decision-making.
