    Hi,
HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) issued Lenny with a notice to file his self-assessment tax return for the tax year 2022/23 on 30 April 2023. Lenny submitted the return online on 15 March 2024.

As the return is filed after the due filing date, the notification must be made by the quarter day following the first anniversary of the actual filing date.
the answer is 30 april 2025

what does quarter day mean ?

    thanks

Quarter date is irrelevent – its about the anniversary of the notification – ie 30 April 25
