brutus operates a defined benefit pension plan……
in the solution while finding return on investment they have added 110+10 to multiply with 10%. Where is that 10 coming from and why are we adding it to assets?1. It is being added to liabilities not assets.
2. 10 is a past service cost accruing from the START OF THE YEAR.
3. So interest is charged from the start of the year.In future, you should show the topic not the question number as thread header, and please give enough detail so that I don’t have to try and find the right question bank. 🙂
