i would say buy both. study from kaplan first and then read BPP. i find comfortable with kaplan. lot of basic concept u cn easily leran from kaplan study text and we can study very fast. that is adv of kaplan. BPP is good it gives basic concept plus some additional interesting points about it. so, BPP is given platinum. it depends on u. i also find, during revision period kaplan is really helpful. BPP gives lengthy explanation on all topics so u would not miss any points.many students say, if u have enough time read BPP. In kaplan, every sentence is like golden statements. and in kaplan other points you willl find in revision kit, so after learning both study text and revision kit, u will get a good idea on topic. in bpp, all points are given in study text itself. another adv it has that even minor or non core syllabus is explained in detail in BPP.

i am using kaplan and i could cover chapters very fast. i am in 2 nd week reached chpter 7 already. i did around 10 revision kit qns of kaplan. kaplan is very easy to understand.

so u decide which one u should go for.

it depends on ur speed in study.

try 2 subjects daily upto aug.and see, how much portion u r covering.
i wish to do 4 subjects like f4,f6,f8 & f9. i started with f4 & f9 kaplan text books. and f4 2 chapters , f9 7 chpaters. 10 revision kits qn from each i could cover. now, by aug let me see how much i can cover. then i will decide should i go for 3 or 4.

in ur case, it is not skill, it is professional level. u dont know, how much deep u must study and prepare for professional . for skill level, my speed is 5 exam std qn a day max. but professional level may be it is less. unless u practice enough exam std qns u wont pass. keeping that in mind. u have to find ur study speed and then forecast. for a subject u need atleast 90 qns. if 5 qn a day it needs 18 days to solve a revision kit plus past exam papers. so, and for professional level u may need more than 25 days. that was my calculations for revsion kit alone. before u attempt revision kit u need to study study text. what is ur speed? on an avg there is 20 chapters. if 2 days for 1 chapter for studying then u need 40 days to study. so, at my best , i need 40 +18= 58 days for one subject in skill level. now, every day i cannnot study at this speed. so , i may take much more than this 58 days. so u judge urself.

if u require 3 days for 1 chapter in professional lvl. 60 days for 1 subject and say 3 qns a day then u need 30 days for revsion kit. actuallly u can be faster than this. how i do is ? one day i tried to study 2 subjects. morning one subject and evening one subject. so. i can be much faster. but it is hard to focus on one subject entire day. i used to slow by evening. but when i shift the subject i find it better. i dont know about u.

    so u decide.
