    Hi guys

I am just starting to study and hoping to sit the march exam. I am extremely confused about which book to use though. I have only ever used BPP- tax, financial reporting and management accounting. There have been instances where the wording confuses me a little bit but I fill those gaps in by OT notes and lectures.

I have going through the forum and that’s where I got confused because many people have been saying Kaplan is better. I have never used Kaplan before and so if you all could advise, that would be great. I will be very grateful!

In general, I have found Kaplan to be more concise and focussed whereas BPP tends to be more detailed and comprehensive. Hope this helps.

If you are used to the writing style of BPP then it shouldn’t be a problem for Audit & Assurance. This exam is scenario-specific and thats where you need to excel.

I believe the combination of OT lectures+notes and BPP is enough for this exam. However, you must practise as much past paper questions as possible. If you’re using a revision kit, then i’d say use Kaplan as it has more questions than BPP.

    Hope this helps.
