Hi there,
Currently I am covering the AA syllabus predominantly from OpenTuition videos/notes.
I am considering in purchasing the BPP textbook.
I was wondering whether you would consider it effective to study from 2 sources simultaneously (BPP & OpenTuition lecture videos), so as to combine knowledge from both OpenTuition’s lecturer & BPP’s notes.
To be honest, as I have opt-in for the OBU Degree, I want to increase my chances of getting >70%, and was not sure what would be the most optimal way to achieve this.
March 7, 2019 at 9:16 am #508237* Further to my previous message, I just wanted to add that I found the 2016’s version of the book on the internet, but not sure whether some syllabus material has changed.
I am considering purchasing the latest version via BPP’s site and just wanted your views on it.

Apart from the ACCA technical articles (found them on their site after your recommendation), does ACCA provides its students any other free online sources? (i.e. information which provides a greater depth of understanding in regards to some aspects of the course).
March 9, 2019 at 3:08 pm #508805This is the landing page for all AA resources https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f8.html of which the technical articles is just one part. If you select, for example, “CBE Specimens”, as well as the CBE Specimen exam, you will find a guide to CBE, extrac constructed response questions, the constructed response workspace to use when practicing revision questions, etc. It’s worthwhile putting a reminder in your study planner to check the www on a regular basis for new resources – or follow updates in the student e-magazine https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/sa.html
