Dear Sir b... the idea of disposal as a defence technique Should I understand the if the NAV is higher than the share value, the company becomes a target as an undervalued company for takeover. Therefore by selling assets and returning the money to the shareholders by dividend or buy back the NAV is being reduced to come in line with the share price (as long as it is not core assets)?
