maam in this question the examiner asks to write in part c) the effect on auditor’s opinion and auditor’s report if ALL misstatements are uncorrected.

can I combine part b and c and for each misstatement conclude on opinion and effect on report on an individual basis? instead of doing on a combined basis, where I think in time pressure I might mess up!

In its original form there were two requirements:

    (a) Explain the matters which should be discussed with management in relation to each of the uncorrected misstatements, including an assessment of their individual impact on the financial statements; and (14 marks)
    (b) Assuming that management does not adjust any of the misstatements, discuss the effect on the audit opinion and auditor’s report. (6 marks)

You should never “combine” parts that are so obviously distinct and have their own mark allocation – there is no “cross marking” between parts and you will just make the marker annoyed if it appears you expect them to “unpick” a muddled answer.

Also, in CBE, you must answer in the space provided for each requirement – if you leave a part blank because you have answer it elsewhere, you will get no marks for that part (the system doesn’t allow).

You shouldn’t “mess up” under time pressure if you have done sufficient question practice – to time – in the CBE platform.
