Can i use my book which is up to jun-19 to seat in sep-19 exam ? or i need to buy new one ?
April 16, 2019 at 10:30 am #513041You do not say which book you are referring to – text or revision kit.
You will find the 2019-20 syllabus and study guide here – https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f8/syllabus-study-guide.html
Changes are summarised on the last page – this is mostly “tweaking” but data analytics is a new topic. You will therefore need to research this independently (look out for technical articles) – it will be included in our 2019-20 edition notes (to be published post-June exam).
You will find the 2019-20 examinable docs here https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f8/examinable-documents.html
The main change is that UK Corporate Governance Code was revised in July 2018. This will be updated also in our 2019-20 notes. Or you can download it from the FRC website: https://www.frc.org.uk/directors/corporate-governance-and-stewardship/uk-corporate-governance-codeSo no – you do not need to buy new books – but clearly you should not study or practice questions on topics that are technically out of date.

April 16, 2019 at 2:35 pm #513090That should be fine – I’ll be updating the practice test for corporate governance in due course.
