Hello!
I have 2 queries to ask with regard to Bonar Paint question:
1) In part (A) I got the idea that it can be Porter’s 5 forces or PESTEL.But why can’t we use JSW’s strategic evaluation model?2) in part (C) can we use cultural web model? based on your suggested answer, some items fit into cultural web model (in my opinion) like organisational structures (for coordination between the sales & R&D dept) and controls (for improving the MIS system).
These are the few items of cultural web fitting into your answer which might gain me few marks out of the total.These were my suggested questions and opinions. If I’m wrong somewhere,can you guide me please?

To use JSW you need to assess suitability, feasibility and acceptability. You need to generate idea about those qualities eg by using PESTEL, 5 Forces etc. here is no right/wrong way of trying to determine strategy, but pick a model which fits the data in teh question – otherwise you won’t have much to say.
Yes, cultural web would be a fine approach.
