I have a doubt with part (D) of the question. ( Share option scheme )

Can I know why the share price was reduced by the PV of expected dividend ?

I have the original exam question in front of me, and there is no part (d) and there is no mention of any share option scheme.

I can only assume that you have found the question in book and that they have added an extra part themselves.
