Hello sir.
How to determine the binding Constraint in such question.May 7, 2021 at 2:59 pm #619973Check for each of the constraints where are not it is equal to the limit or is less than the limit for the optimal production levels that are given.
If the equation is equal to the limit then the constraint is binding. If it is less than the limit then it is not binding.
May 7, 2021 at 3:51 pm #619975Sir but there is only one resource constraint rest two are demand constraint..
So how to choose between X or Y
Would it be X since at optimum
Solution the demand= constraint
And at optimum solution we have less than constrained demand for YMay 8, 2021 at 8:25 am #620007There are three constraints, The limiting ones are labour and the demand for X.
Have you watched my free lectures, because there is a demand constraint in the example that I work through in the lecture.
May 8, 2021 at 1:34 pm #620050Yes,I must watch that lecture
Excuse me sir ,
But can you pls refer the video name
Was it Linear programming 1st lecture?May 8, 2021 at 3:53 pm #620068Part of it is in the first lecture, but all the linear programming lectures need to be watched because they follow on from each other.
The lectures overall are a complete free course for Paper PM and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
