Can someone kindly advise me if it is possible for an affiliate with little to zero experience to apply to a big 4 firm in the UK as a trainee and get through. Please note the person is not currently living in the UK or has the right to work there at the moment.

Feed back will be greatly appreciated on whether this has ever been done and also the degree of difficulty one will have applying for the aforementioned position from an outside country.

    Thanks in advance.

If you don’t have permission to work in UK I cannot see how they could sign a contract with you.

As far as I remember the first step is to show ur interest via application form through their websites or to apply for direct job offer.

For fresh guys they have tests (small math playing with numbers) – you have to pass them in order they can even consider you as a potential employee. Then you go through interviews.
If you fail a test you cannot be considered again (at least what i found in PwC many years ago) – only they can consider you after few years with relevant experience – then u dont do the tests again but only go through interviews.

To be honest UK, London is a highly competetive market. From their perspective why would they bother (maybe im wrong) about someone (you) who doesn’t have permission to work when they have dozens of other candidates at their location.

A bit harsh but it gives u a level of difficulty…
