I have being studying Kaplan text I am up to chapter 5. i have practiced lots of questions in the chapters but still find my understanding is vague, that I am only learning the method but when I attempt a difficult question I am lost.

How do you actually go about understanding consolidation properly or is it just questions, questions, questions?

Try following the OT lectures on the subject, and working through the examples.

In addition, it would help if you revised your F7 knowledge! ( Not intending to be rude! )
