Is there any benefit of taking AFM over atx as I have seen many students taking AFM rather than Atx.
I am thinking to go for AFM although I struggled with risk management at FM level ans scored in 70s. In tax I have scored in 80s .Will it be wise to take ATX due to this reason ?My only priority is to clear exam in first attempt so what exam is better AFM or atx ?
Please share your suggestions.

The majority of people tend to get higher marks in Paper TX because so much of it is a question of learning and applying the tax rules whereas Paper FM does require a greater degree of understanding.
Paper AFM is obviously harder than Paper FM but is a logical extension of FM. Paper ATX differs from Paper TX in that there is much more concentration on tax planning.
If it makes any difference to you, we do not have free lectures, notes or Ask the Tutor Forum for Paper ATX (because of the fact that there are many fewer students taking the ATX UK exam, and it does not justify for us the expense of the enormous yearly updating that would be necessary). We obviously do have free lectures, notes, and Ask the Tutor Forum for Paper AFM.
