Hello I’m beginning my FA1 using opentution study notes, and I have a few questions?
1. For FA1, MA1, FA2 & MA2 will I need to purchase any other study materials or the opentution study notes are enough to sit for an exam?
2. I’m an MBA with a STEM background, is choosing the FIA Level 2 route the right choice? or should I opt for FMA,FFA,FBT?
3. How do I take the exam for Foundation in professionalism that need to be taken once?
Welcome!
We recommend that you buy a revision kit with question practice/mock exams from an approved publisher – or you can buy practice exams directly from ACCA – see here for FA2, for example:
https://www.accaglobal.com/in/en/student/exam-support-resources/practice-tests.html
Link to that page is from this page where you will also find a link to the Specimen exam https://www.accaglobal.com/in/en/student/exam-support-resources/foundation-level-study-resources/fa2.html and relevant technical articles
BUT – if you have an MBA it seems highly unlikely that you need to start at foundations – I would have thought you would be exempt from something.
Have you used the Exemptions calculator?
https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/help/exemptions-calculator.html
If you do start with foundations – the FiP is accessed through myACCA – see link here https://www.accaglobal.com/in/en/student/ethics/fip.html
