Hi sir
I did a mock exam in which the overall economy is experiencing an economic recession which has contracted 1percent. General guidance I believe is that when market growth is more than 10percent it’s considered high growth but is it the same guidance when the economy is currently in recession? Thanks
Probably not. There is no hard and fast rule about high/liw growth.
Really, BCG is a portfolio tool used when there are several products or markets to compare. Those with higher market growth than the others will be candidates to be problem children and stars.
Thanks sir
