    BCAA UK China Business & Finance Forum (1) – IFRS & Economic

    This event to be held in the Parliament aims to promote the development of the accountancy, finance and economics field, and facilitate the practice and application of international accounting standards with the aim to enhance the relationship between British and China.

    This Forum will cover topics such as How IFRS Affect World Economic, The future of IFRS in China, Fair value and IFRS, China’s Economic rise and the UK – China trade relationship, etc.

    Speakers:
    1. Mr Weiguo Zhang: Board member, IASB/IFRS
    2. Dr Andrew Nevin: Advisory director, PwC
    3. Mr David Cairns: Professor in Accounting, LSE
    4. Duncan Levesley, Business Development Manager, China-Britain Business Council
    5. Mr. Brian Singleton-Green, Manager in corporate reporting, ICAEW
    6. Mr. Mark Hendrick MP: Chair, All-Party Parliamentary China Group

    Date: Wednesday, 12th October 2011
    Time: 6:00pm – 8:30pm
    Venue: Committee Room 4A, House of Lords, Parliament, London
    Costs: Free for BCAA Members (Booking required. )
    £10 for Non BCAA Members.
    (BCAA membership: £10/year for students & unemployed job seekers, £15/year for professionals).

    6:30pm – 8:30pm Forum+Q&A
