The total value of the business is 6,800 (based on the share price).

The value of the property is (from the question) the land and buildings of 2,297 plus the assets under construction of 165. So the total is 2,462, which is a fair value because they had recently been revalued.

The value of retail is the balance of the 6,800 total. (6,800 – 2,462 = 4,338)

It is enough, provided that you are watching the free lectures that go with the notes, and provided that you work through all of the questions in the exam kit.

Just using the notes on their own is not enough – they are lecture notes and it is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes.

If you are not watching the lectures for any reason then you need to buy a Study Text from one of the ACCA approved publishers and study from there.
