Is batch costing on request on customer or according to manufacturer?
In book (bpp) it is mentioned that there is no specific job.
Kindly help.
In future, if you want me to answer then you must ask in the Ask the Tutor Forum (this forum is for students to help each other).
Batch costing is when the company produces in batches of units instead of individual units. For example, a bread maker will produce bread in batches rather than 1 loaf of bread at a time.
They may well do this just for one specific job or they may do this all the time (as will the bread maker).
Thank you sir. I was really unaware of ask the tutor. Now onwards, will do that.
