What are the different method a company can adopt to weaken the bargaining power of customer?
Find more customers to dilute any single customer’s power
Enter into long term contracts
Build in switching costs (eg it is bothersome or risky for them to change)
Give excellend service ie you sell on more than just price
Take over your competitors so that your customer has fewer alternatives to turn to.
Threaten them with a big gun.
