Dear sir,
Should “Bank overdraft that is held all year” be included in cash and cash equivalents in accordance with IAS 7 Statement of Cash Flows?
In one study hub question it says “not included”.
In the statement we are explaining the change in the cash and cash equivalents over the year.
Although normally a bank overdraft is included in the cash and cash equivalents, if it is staying the same all year then it is not changing and so can be ignored when calculating the change over the year.
