sir in awan co (dec13) voblaka bank has quoted several FRA rates to Awan Co. Are those rates deposit or borrowing rates?
In case you are unable to find the question- I mean to ask that if a bank quotes a list of FRA rates, not in pairs, just series of rates, then are they borrowing rate(base rate) or deposit rates?
P.S.-. the company needs to deposit in future.
FRA’s are not traded and are quotes given by the bank to the specific company. The rates quoted by the bank will depend on whether the company wishes to borrow or deposit (and on the ‘riskiness’ of the particular company).
