1. I read an article in the student accountant with regards to amendments to the standard audit report, can u please summarised the proposed changes along with the pros and cons of this change. Thank u
I’m sorry Sukhdeo, but if YOU have read an article from Student Accountant, why is it not possible for you to summarise the changes? If there is something in there that you don’t understand, I’ll happily (try to) explain, but I don’t consider it unreasonable to ask you to do your own summary.
What IS of interest is the statement in Accountancy Age today that the likelihood of a mandatory change in auditors of “after 10 years with a possible extension of 10 more years but after the first 5 of the first 10 the audit should be put out to tender and, if not, there should be a note in the financial statements about which year the tendering process will start” (If I have read it correctly!)
Have you registered with http://www.accountancyage.com? If not, why not? A daily publication with 5 or 6 short articles of which (normally) at least one is relevant to P level students
