Was reading in the course notes that in audit report it should cleatly mentioned that the report is for members only but shouldnt it be referring to all the users of financial statements?
No. The report is addressed to the members. Some reports even have a paragraph in them warning others that it is not for them.
You can’t stop people reading it of course, but the report is from the auditors to the members.
