can anyone lay out some general audit procedures for verifying the asertions of the sales figure & purchases figure??

draw, decipher, line, re-produce, trace, seek, establish, sustain, corroborate, re-assert, verify, establish, support, affirm, pair, fit, agree, tally, measure, liken, contrast, equate, compare, check (BPP use alot with this verb, you can use. but make sure to CHECK a SPECIFIC DOCUMENT), visual sense, stack, survey, vision, deal, probe, investigate, inspect, search, study, analysis, examine, enquire, interview, look into, scrutinize, review, explore, visit, observe and many more with reasonable VERB-with-HOW
